It’s an honor to defend the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights

One of the promises I made to all citizens of Senate District 13 is to defend the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR), a constitutional amendment that says voters get to decide on taxes. PERIOD. It’s simple. Elected officials must ask voters to raise taxes. So when the Denver Post calls me obstructionist and spiteful for respecting TABOR, I wear that as a badge of honor and a promise kept.
